With its pretty bell tower, its green hills and its many apple trees, Tourville-sur-Pont-Audemer has all the charm of the perfect Norman village that will seduce tourists in a hurry. Built by the Romans during the conquest of the Gauls around 70 BC, it is one of the oldest fiefdoms in Normandy. It is probably necessary to recognize the name of Torf in Tourville: the ancestor of a powerful Norman family, of Scandinavian origin, settled here since the 10th century.
