This charming and tiny town, which is the smallest village in France, is only a few kilometres from Sauveterre-de-Guyenne! With a total surface area of 3.5 hectares, Castelmoron-d'Albret is barely larger than three football fields! Built on a rocky peak, the fortified city offers a beautiful medieval ensemble: remains of ramparts, old houses, a tower that was part of the castle of Castelmoron, now disappeared, one of the three entrance gates of the city. Follow the path that descends from the city's entrance gate and runs along walls covered with greenery, flowers and rock plants.
