The village of Poggio di Venaco was built on a rocky ridge, as an extension of the nearby village of Riventosa. It is an old village whose buildings are grouped around an old tower and the San Roccu chapel. It can be seen from the RN 193. It offers a remarkable spectacle when it emerges from a mist covering the valley. To see: the parish church of San-Quilicu, remarkable for its position, its bulbous bell tower and its recent whiteness. It is a wonderful belvedere equipped with an orientation table, with a view on one side over the Tavignano valley to the sea and on the other over the mountain range of Monte Cardo (2,453 m).
