Nogent-le-Roi was a fief in the th century. The Eure and the Roubelois meet there and the presence of bridges and bridges adds a romantic charm to picturesque neighbourhoods with its wooden houses dating back to the th and th centuries. The pleasant town of Nogent-le-Roi was built during a millennium, as evidenced by the scrolls showing its successive fortresses, where several capétiens kings were involved and where Jeanne de France was born, the daughter of Louis VI. In this ancient fortified town, the castle was replaced in 1860 by a Louis XIII style construction. The 90 hectare park, transformed into an English garden, now houses nearly 100 deer.
