Les caves de Seyssel, founded in 1930, was taken over in 2022 by Bugey winemakers Régis and Karine Bernard. This estate preserves the heritage of Royal Seyssel and, more broadly, of Seyssel wines. From Villefranche, going to Liergues, take close to the cooperative wine cellar of Gleizé, the road of Saint-fonds, the property is then striking. A family history of excellence. This cellar offers wines from the Ardèche winegrowers of the protected appellations of origin Côtes-du-rhône and Côtes-du-vivarais as well as organic wines. Delicatessen, regional products, tea cellar... A great epicurean address! This recently-renovated boutique with the "Goûtez l'Ardèche" label offers more than just nougats and chestnut products... In addition to a wide selection of local products, Au Bon Bec offers, as its name suggests, a choice of old-fashioned sour sweets, as well as chocolates. The welcome is as soft and sweet as the sweets on display. You'll also find the Kiub brand, with its mugs, coffee cups, isothermal water bottles, activity aprons for children...

In the hélicicole farm, which can be visited from 1 June to 30 September, snails can be acquired in different forms and packaging on demand for professionals. The general public will have the choice between two dozen packs, short-bouillonnés snails in verrines and toaster preparation, house specialty, «escargotine».

In 1987, at the age of 23, Valérie decided to resume the family case, supported by a "modern" grandfather and a mother "who jardinait on the moon".

Vinsobres is the first growth of the Drôme provençale. The cooperative cellar gathers 250 wine growers. Grimaudier, birthplace of'd'Anglas, is a solid th century building, where Roberto and Sabine flared the old Bread oven. They propose to assist and even participate in all stages of wood fire production. And in the old barn you can discover and buy the products of the grimaudier terroirferme. And if you have the chance to go in summer, you can participate in the animations organized around these days of bread festival.

A three-generation company dedicated to Picodon de Dieulefit, a goat's milk tomme with a characteristic, slightly spicy flavor. The company collects raw goat's milk from as far afield as Bourdeaux to make these tommes, which measure 5 to 7 cm in diameter and 50 to 80 g in accordance with the AOC. Cavet offers different maturing stages: from 8 days to 2 months and more. Of course, the longer the ripening, the more personalized the picodon! The Dieulefit method label implies a cheese matured for at least 2 months (14 days for a classic AOC picodon).

It is the third generation of winegrowers to produce this well-known organic wine. The vines of the Domaine du Rieu-Frais blossom on the marl soils of the beautiful Ennuyée valley, on 30 ha combining 9 grape varieties. The vinification, like the cultivation, is done organically and by hand. The winemaker offers free visits of the cellars and oenology courses. The domain produces a white chardonnay, a white viognier, a rosé of syrah, and many red wines. Also a very good organic grape juice.

For over 45 years, Domaine La Rosière has been perpetuating a tradition of terroir-driven wines, using local grape varieties from the Baronnies hillsides. The reds feature Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. White wines feature Viognier and Chardonnay. Wines with poetic names: Confidence, Héritage, Chardonette and La Vertue. Part of the estate's production is also organic, under the Bio'ronnies label for red, rosé and white wines. A particular favorite is the sparkling Chardonnay rosé.

More than just a cheese dairy, this is a place steeped in history, where tradition is handed down from father to son. Albert Roche opened the establishment in the 1950s, and it's been Jérôme who has taken up the torch for nearly 40 years. The Coucouron cheese, a blue-veined cow's cheese, is much sought-after by cheese lovers, but the dairy also produces an organic ewe's milk blue. All these cheeses are made with milk from the herds that graze peacefully in the nearby mountains. An address not to be missed.

There are cow's milk, goat's milk and ewe's milk cheeses available in many versions, including goudoulet, an Ardèche version of reblochon, as well as the creamy log of Mézenc, Mazan abbey (Gruyère style). You can also stock up on milk, butter and fresh cream. If you wish to visit the cheese factory, go there in the morning during the production process. If you go for a walk, stop and do your shopping, you won't be disappointed.

On two streets of the town hall, this wine cellar is well signposted from the RN 86 - two possibilities: or park along the national or enter the city via the central roundabout and you can easily find the place - to load the trunk of some vouchers… in front of the cellar. Sylvie's passion, wine merchants, vineyards and délices are visible: Côtes du Rhône with some of its greatest wines, great wines of Bordeaux, Burgundy du Val-de-Loire, Languedoc and South-West are carefully placed in the shelves of the cellar which houses the summer touffeur behind thick walls. But it's not all because local products are ardéchois - jams, blocks and even this rare water produced in Asperjoc: The Queen of the Basalts - are beautifully displayed on shelves. On the bulk, wines from Countries of Ardèche and Costières de Nîmes and some table wines. An excellent Muscat of Lunel of owner, discreet homage to the roots of the vineyard complete the pretty panel of this nice cellar which has the concern - alas too rare today to propose excellent wines without ruining the client.

Just a stone's throw from the tourist office, the Rosières winery groups together 150 winegrowers, i.e. 700 hectares of vines, spread over 13 communes. The variety of soils and exposures are an asset that the cellar makes the most of. It produces local wines made from Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds and rosés, and from Sauvignon Blanc for the whites. Two exceptions: Viognier on sandstone soils which gives a rare and magnificent wine and Chatus, a grape variety which survived the phylloxera epidemic and whose most beautiful plants are found in the commune of Vernon.

A must of the Ardèche chestnut grove! More than 65 specialities compete for the spotlight: PDO chestnuts in their natural state, in cream, in syrup, in flour, in liqueur... There is also a gourmet collection of around twenty jams and jellies made from fruit from the orchard or the mountains. Also on the shelves: lamb meat, beers and Ardèche wines. It has been more than twenty-five years since the company was founded. A godsend! Thanks to it, no need to go from farm to farm. This Main Paysanne groups together about thirty producers of the area around the slogan "products of our farms sold by ourselves". An unavoidable charcuterie reference! The company was founded in 1880 by Florentin Rome. Five generations later, it is Samuel Rome who runs the company. And it is still the same good artisanal pork meats that are made on this Ardèche mountain. Rome is particularly famous for its pure pork, boletus, chestnut, or even venison and blueberry pâtés and for its beautiful collection of dry sausages. There are also dishes prepared with love as well as boxes of Ardèche flavors, salty, sweet with wine of the region.
