This estate has been in the same family for six generations. A century ago, wheat was the main crop. Then crops diversified. Today, olive groves, vineyards, orchards and market gardens occupy the land. Domaine des Arches offers a wide range of fruit and vegetables, not forgetting Nyons oil, table olives, fruit juices, jams and Côtes-du-Rhône wines, all available direct from the small roadside store next to the farm.

Particularly picturesque thanks to its picture-postcard setting at the foot of the castle, the Aubenas market is frequently cited as one of the most beautiful in France. Every Saturday morning, stalls fill the streets of the old town. The scent of Provence and the Cévennes, with local produce all lined up. In summer, there's a night market every Wednesday from 6 p.m. in the historic center. In addition, numerous fairs punctuate the year, often with medieval origins: Foire aux colains, Foire de la Saint-Antoine, Foire aux chevaux...

Founded in 1902, Vercornoix produces over 80 tons of walnuts a year. Just outside Saint-Jean-en-Royans, in the direction of Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, Vercornoix opens its pretty wooden store. Here you'll find walnuts and a whole range of by-products, as well as handcrafted Vercors products. Most of the production is carried out on site. Walnut oil, walnut aperitif, vinegar, jam, mustard, sweets... A tasting bar on site will help you make your choice. Gift idea: the "cooking box" or the "snack box".

In the heart of the Domaine de Provensol, this magnificent building, a former fortified farmhouse, houses five comfortable and tastefully decorated guest rooms and a gîte. The view of the vineyards, the surrounding hills and even Mont Ventoux is breathtaking. All around are the vineyards of Dominique Thouroude, who runs the estate and produces organic wines with catchy names: Coucou rosé, Coucou rouge, Sainte Perpétue, La Bohème, Prélude... Located at the bottom of Crêt de Roch, the organic grocery store Vrac en Vert offers a maximum of bulk products. Customers must bring their own containers - with solutions on the spot for the dizzy ones. A way to buy only the product, and not its container. The foodstuffs come from short circuits. The shop offers baskets of seasonal vegetables and fruit with recipe cards. Courses are organized to make your own cleaning products. Designed by Franck Stindel, from l'Arrière-cour, the shop won a prize in the city's design competition.

Nicole Boulet, recently joined by Jocelyne Didou, chose in 1999 to raise 60,000 petit gris snails on her farm. She also grows her own vegetables and fruit to make her own organic products. Of course, there is the traditional snail for the holidays, but also a whole range of snailines for the aperitif. We recommend the recipe with lentils from Saint-Flour to garnish cherry tomatoes. Jean and Jeremy run a store dedicated to 100% ethical products for the aperitif. Their commitment: to offer quality products, to favor organic, reasoned, local or at least French products. You can buy peanuts in bulk, spreads, chips from Aveyron, lemonades from Vercors... but also wines, beers and spirits. The two companions propose trays to compose with cheeses, delicatessen, dried fruits and chips, nicely presented in big spruce boxes made for them by a craftsman of the Jura.
