The Monday morning calf market is renowned throughout the region. The tradition of markets goes back to 1497, with the authorization given by Charles VIII to Count Jean de Saint-Symphorien to establish a market every Monday and 3 fairs per year (11 June, 29 September, 6 December). The Bereziat family has a 15-hectare estate in the heart of the Brouilly Cru, where they practice sustainable farming and focus on the production of quality wines. With a vineyard composed mainly of old vines, the estate produces AOC Beaujolais, Beaujolais Villages, Brouilly and Moulin à Vent in the Gamay grape variety, as well as a white wine in the Viognier variety.
