In the Campanini house, in the beautiful Pack street in the city centre, still entirely paved, there are precious coffees and teas. Indeed, the boss is only Arnaud Campanini, a passion and a great connoisseur from a family who dedicated his life to the coffee. His father, before him, founded a roasting company on his behalf in 1975. The address has since become an institution in Dijon. Bulk teas are very varied, with multiple flavours, nature or perfumed. For lovers of relaxation, herbal teas, teas and rooïbos are recommended. As for coffee lovers, they are literally in paradise with wines from all over the world. To equip yourself with accessories essential to tasting, you will also find the necessary on site: Coffee machines, teapots, cups…

Nestled in an old residence, in front of the Sarret Museum in Grozon, this shop houses Philippe Gonet's passion. It shows that a great vinegar can also be appreciated in terms of aromas, length in the mouth, and harmony with refined dishes. Poulsard, trousseau, savagnin, and, of course, yellow wine are the basis of the vinegar maker's taste creations. Several ranges: light, concentrated, balsamic... Some vinegars are available in spray, to delicately spice up a fish or sauce. And what about the little luxury straw wine vinegar to cook a foie gras? In addition to vinegars, you will find wines from the region, cherries in brandy, mustard in yellow wine. Enough to fill superb baskets filled... !

Along an important artery in the city centre, this shop does not look like a mine but contains liquid and solid treasures. Arranged all in length, it spreads fresh fruit and vegetable crates all the way to the sidewalk. They change every day, depending on the arrivals and seasons. Inside, the Comté terroir can be found on all shelves. Organic and dietetic products in bulk or in bags are a natural part of it. Coming from the region's market gardeners and winegrowers, they diversify into delicatessens as well as futures. Ferme Comtoise is also a top-of-the-range dairy, or even a cheese dairy. Among the best choices are the small fruit counties, the Mont d'Or and quality goat cheese. In addition to extra-fresh eggs, excellent Gizia honey and other taste specialities. A store with a large time slot.

LES HALLES CENTRALES

3 reviews

It is in this emblematic place of the city centre that one comes to make his market several times in the week. A true historical site, these market halls, designed in 1868 and built a few years later, have an incredible charm. The metal framework inspired by Eiffel constructions, decorated with animal motifs is stunning and forms a choice showcase for gourmet and local products. An anti-morosity effect is guaranteed, because taking the time to stroll through the aisles with your basket is more than just shopping. Les Halles centrales welcome: market gardeners, greengrocers, butchers and poultry farmers, cheese-makers and fishmongers for everyone's pleasure. The early risers and the impatient begin their turn as soon as they open after the coffee break in one of the café counters surrounding the halls; the hive quickly comes alive and the queues get longer. You like the friendly atmosphere and the refreshment area where you can put your shopping bag on the floor while you have a drink or even a snack. The Sunday morning brunch is a must. If 2020 has, due to the health crisis, modified the formula, the idea remains the same. From June to September, chefs take it in turns to propose several dishes in order to create a real gourmet brunch. Set up for the occasion, the halls come alive with amateurs of good food and musical entertainment that stretches until the early afternoon. An experience to be lived absolutely if you are in Dijon during this period!

In addition to having an excellent restaurant installed in a sumptuous 13th century crypt, the Dame d'Aquitaine offers a range of catering services and group receptions. Whether it's for a work session, wine tasting or more festive gourmet moments, this place is without a doubt a privileged setting. As far as gastronomy is concerned, it is up to the chef Laurent Perriguey to surprise you. The catering service, on the spot or to take away, combines both functionality and creativity by adapting perfectly to your desires.

2.3/5
3 reviews

The Carrefour store, the first name of the name in the region, perfectly fulfils its functions. Located in the heart of a shopping mall including various shops, restaurants and brasseries, no less than 5 places or lunch and 3 places for dinner (cafeteria, pizza and the paved courtyard) its rays are largely filled, which is to restock in various foods including regional specialities and products from local producers, but also clothing, jewelry, parapharmacie, flowers, hi-fi, television, telephone, computer with its offer of assistance, and even a catering service. On disc side, an independent listening system allows you to taste almost all the genres offered. Gardening enthusiasts will be filled with the immense and beautiful green space which, like gardening, spreads its plants, flowers, trees, young shoots, gardening instruments and the whole range. As early as the season, the parking lot offers a wide range of garden huts, barbecue and other summer fun. You can now speed up the pace of your checkout with the new quick and self-service terminals. Outside, Carrefour insurance, vacation and show. Home and after-sales service always at the top. This year, they suffered from the work of the tram, but that is the way to go. So with their 68 shops in the shopping mall and their huge store, don't you want to go there? In the gallery, please note the Grand Boutique Optic Grand Quétigny for the purchase of your sunglasses or view. Great choice. LE TROU DE SOURIS

Regional grocery cheese and cream shops

Of course, this stall of the hall has the county's speciality. The latter is refined in the cellars of Fort Saint-Antoine in the upper Doubs. The little plus: The preparation of a comtois plateau with golden mountain, alpine Tomme, Cheese blue, Comté. But also national cheeses such as pie, cheese, mimolette, roquefort, mole and on-going, the choice is too wide. All cheeses are of an exemplary quality.

CONFISERIE DU PRIEURÉ

Confectionery

At the foot of the Priory and in a more than charming setting, you can taste the famous Charitois, a specialty of nearly 100 years, soft caramel with chocolate or coffee, coated with cooked sugar; taste the Pavé du Prieuré, the Muscadines, blackcurrant pearls and enjoy a homemade hot chocolate... What delights! In summer, go through the small door near the porch, and a charming courtyard will welcome you to savor the homemade ice cream. A house not to be missed in the city of the Book for its local specialities.
