La Meulière, an organic artisan bakery founded in 1994 by Achim Schulzbongert, has always championed "eating well" for better health. An ethic shared by Théo Bouvier, who worked with this master baker for nine years and took over the business in 2022. The charming little store, with its rustic decor and stone millstone in front, is equipped with a mill for preparing organic wholemeal spelt flours and various flakes. Visitors come for the wide range of sourdough breads, viennoiseries, cakes and original snacks.

Founded in 1953 by the Martin family, this is a 34-hectare estate. A forerunner in organic viticulture in 1999, it is now a biodynamic estate. The wines are matured mainly in wooden barrels in three large cellars, each 70 m long. The methods used in their production produce a full range of Jura wines of remarkable finesse and elegance, offering unforgettable tasting moments. The estate's staff welcome you to visit the cellars by appointment, and the boutique is located in the heart of Arbois for wine tasting.

At the exit of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, near the cellars of Bailly, there is a goat farm that you must visit. Created by the very sympathetic Claire Genet, it proposes cheeses (100 % organic obviously, and made under our eyes!), but also a delicatessen composed of products coming from local producers. But you can also come and have a picnic, go for a walk with the goats, follow workshops (for example, on how to make goat's milk soaps). And animations are regularly organized for children (but not only!). A favorite.

Here, everything is in bulk, in the good sense of the word. This elegant, functional space is dedicated exclusively to organic products. No packaging, just bring your own, and we'll help you out if you run out of containers. The emphasis is on the shortest possible supply chain. The range of products on offer includes groceries, natural sourdough bread, fruit and vegetables, cleaning products, body care products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (in moderation). Jars and bottles are consigned. Roasted coffee, herbal teas and teas offer a wide range of aromas. Superb welcome.

The Biau Vegetable Garden is one of Belfortain's nuggets! Denis and Christophe produce vegetables on 6 ha, in the Sundgau, between Belfort and Altkirch. Organic farming has been practiced there since the creation of the "kitchen garden" in 1989: compost as the only amendment, varied hedges, limited treatments in case of problems (mildew, beetles, mites, slugs) based on plant products or mineral products. They complete their offer by buying other organic products elsewhere (fruit, dried fruit, eggs, flour, etc.).

More than a brewery, an institution! Here, you will find artisanal and organic beers: the light Blonde, the refined Brune and the sober Blanche. With also gluten-free beers, and - since this year - another one without alcohol! Multi-awarded at the International Competitions of Lyon and Paris, as well as at the World Beer Awards, Bières de Vézelay are distributed in many medium and large stores throughout France. And even internationally, as well as on the menus of the best restaurants in the region.

Just at the entrance of Ahuy, Biocoop has its 450 m² department store. Like the other stores in the network, the address advocates the development of products from organic farming, according to an ecological ideal. Here, local producers are involved and offer their products in the shop. The bread offered every day is fresh and local. You will also find a cheese and charcuterie section, a very wide choice of fresh products, vegetables and a large bulk section to reduce waste. We like the variety of teas and herbal teas on offer. Brown, white, amber, blonde... The microbrewer Odile Bondier can boast of having a production of beers labeled Nature et Progrès which translates its will to reach the "zero waste", in particular through the intermediary of returnable bottles. Its beers are made with local raw materials. The brewer as well as the beers are known for their character and their conviction. To taste her production, you can also go to the market of Avallon.

Anne-Sophie Soulaliou had the excellent idea to open a 100% organic grocery store. In the center of the village, in this charming store, you will find a wide range of mainly local products, some of them in bulk. The fruits and vegetables follow the seasons, often grown in the department. Whether they are liquids or solids, short circuits are a priority in their selection. The well-stocked shelves are regularly enriched. A good address.

Carine is a producer of plants and herbs in organic agriculture. She lives in the mountains, in the small village of Montagnat-le-Reconduit, a few kilometers from Saint-Amour. She is also a distiller of spirits and delicious absinthes using a traditional still. She sublimates her plants in various delicatessen products: oils, salts and sugars with plants, spreads... and proposes the sale of plans according to the season. These marvels can be found in several producer's stores in the area.

In the shopping area just outside Ahuy, recognisable by the Géant Casino shopping centre, Le B is an organic bakery that has won many fans. And for good reason, everything here is made by hand with exclusively organic products. The owner knows the subject very well and does not hesitate to answer all your questions about the manufacture and composition of their products. You will know everything about the organic bread with natural leaven, about the small spelt as well as about the gluten-free recipes that we propose you.

Like its counterparts, the Biocoop des Grandvalliers only sells organic and fair trade products, refusing GMOs. Highlighting about forty regional producers, 5 market gardeners and 4 bakers. 150 references are listed, food, cosmetics, baby specialties and cleaning products. Most can be obtained in bulk. The store stands out with the selection Bio je peux, references of current consumption at small prices, in order to twist the received idea that the bio is accessible only to the well-to-do wallets.

Les Champs du Destin is a 100% organic bakery created by Jérôme Bruet. The unusual flours and cereals are produced on village land that has been preserved for many years. An organic baker since 1994, Jérôme is brimming with projects, notably participating in development programs with Agro Sup Dijon. His laboratory also prepares a range of 14 chocolates made with lecithin-free cocoa paste and enriched with multiple cereals. Among the must-haves are the Champs du Destin beers made from organic cereals.

Philippe Chatillon is an artisan winemaker in the noblest sense of the term. From the soil to the glass, everything is sweat, observation, care and patience to reach the Grail. The harvest is sorted and carried out manually. The juice is neither fined nor filtered and is even bio-harmonized. Lovers of originality will find gamay and the confidential red-tailed melon from his vineyard in Côtes-du-Jura with aromatic power and a lacy mouthfeel.
