It is a family story and a passion for these winegrowers of the Landron-Chartier wine estate. The heart of their work is motivated by respect and the development of the soil: since 2009 they have chosen to work according to the principle of organic activity. Their vines, which are shared between Ligné, Oudon and Saint-Géréon, are composed mainly of 3 grape varieties: melon B, pinot gris and gamay, and their harvest is done exclusively by hand. The Culvert Castle was built in 1847 on the Hauteurs heights. Domaine Gadais Père et Fils is a winery located in Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine, in the Loire Valley. Since 1952, the Gadais family has been producing top-quality Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie. The estate extends over a hundred parcels dedicated to the cultivation of Melon de Bourgogne. Domaine Gadais is committed to working in harmony with nature, using sustainable farming methods. The wines produced range from classic Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie to exceptional cuvées such as La Grande Réserve des Moulins and Navineaux Amphibolite. The domaine benefits from a unique terroir, with soils composed of orthogneiss, micaschiste and amphibolite, which give the wines a great personality. The vineyard offers a variety of wines, including Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie AOC Blanc, with vintages ranging from 2019 to 2022. The vines are planted on silico-clay soil and are 40 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, using sustainable methods. The wine is then vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged on lees for 7 months. The vineyard also offers Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Le Pallet AOC Blanc, vintage 2019, aged on lees for 24 months. This wine is characterized by an intense, mineral nose and a fruity, rich, powerful palate. The vineyard also offers IGP Val de Loire "Blanc" wines made from Melon and Chardonnay grapes, as well as wines with no geographical indication, such as Cuvée les Quartz rouge and Cuvée les Quartz rosé, made from égiodola grapes.

The domain, located in Vertou, in the Nantes metropolis, has existed since the dawn of time. Vincent Barbier and Cécile Perraud, who took over, work their vines with passion. Organic for 5 years with a practice of biodynamics, they have agronomy in their DNA. In their rows, they plant rye which provides nitrogen to the vines and avoids weeding. The result is a natural mulch for a regenerative agriculture. Their wines? Muscadets, big plants, French wines declined in several ranges: Domaine, Jules Verne, Bulles and Grapes. The Sèvre valley offers beautiful colors to their communal cru La Haye-Fouassière. Aged in 24 months. The name "Les Trois Toits" refers to the architecture of the building with three frames. Drouet Frères is a wine merchant offering a wide selection of wines. Drouet Frères is a wine merchant-breeder dating back to 1885, and is now represented by the fourth generation of the Drouet family. It exports its wines to fifty-six countries worldwide. On sunny days, the store is decorated in colour with a variety of tasty and original fruits and vegetables; during the season, for example, about sixty old Guérande tomatoes will be on the shop shelves. Aude, Stéphane and Christophe have created a nice grocery store in the Beaujoire district in Nantes, in a district in full mutation. Here, there was not yet really any shop of this type with a 100% responsible vocation. You can find bulk products, with glass tanks where you can take according to your needs, by weight, and products coming from short circuits, notably from nearby farms (Ferme Blanc, Limeur), organic products (Nantes hillsides), Breton artisanal ice creams with original and traditional flavors and lots of good salty and sweet ideas for the aperitif (salty granola, almonds, cashew nuts...), but also some local dishes cooked under glass. This is the new address in the area for bulk, cereals, legumes and for bulk and recyclable cosmetics. Note that on Friday mornings, you can find pancakes and galettes but beware, they go fast. Manuel has been a heliculturist for several years. Far from being a vocation or a childhood dream, he was a photographer by training, but he left his job to travel the world. And it is in Asia that he had the idea of heliciculture, in Hong Kong. He then had the desire to open a restaurant abroad by highlighting a typical product of French gastronomy. He then discovered snail farming from a distance and became interested in the subject. Back in France, he followed a training course in snail farming, then another one to set up his own business and went in search of a plot of land to start his breeding. Today, Manuel raises between 150,000 and 200,000 small horned animals. The first adult snails are released into the park in mid-April and early June, and are then put into hibernation at a temperature of between 4 and 6°C, as they would be in the wild, and kept in cold storage for several months. Manuel operates on a fresh basis, cooking his snails every week. The flesh is washed with coarse salt before being cooked in a court-bouillon. Of course, he offers the inevitable and traditional snails with parsleyed butter, either in their shells or in croquilles, a salty biscuit. Other recipes include snails with sun-dried tomatoes and basil, with Roquefort cheese or with pumpkin. For the more reluctant, there is also the escargotine: a recipe for parsley butter with mixed flesh to be spread and baked.

Imagine is much more than a restaurant, and has been since autumn 2020. Chef Anne-Lise Genouël has opened a cellar/grocery area, and one thing's for sure: she knows how to pass on her passion for good food! Battos is the project of two friends from the hotel school: Lucie Colombatto, in the dining room, and Gladys Battault, in the kitchen. Les Battos, the nickname given to them when they were teenagers, became an obvious choice when it came to choosing a name for this place, where regal is the key word! The restaurant, which opened in January 2022, complements the small, cozy, but above all very well-stocked grocery store! Flavored pickles, fruit vinegars, beers with multiple flavors, gourmet breadsticks and other very good products are waiting for you to embellish your plates! The Battos have tested all their merchandise before offering it for sale. Trust is also the key word!

If you like apples, you'll love picking them yourself at the Maison de la Pomme. This family business has been opening its orchards to individuals every year from the beginning of September to mid-October for 50 years. It practices integrated and organic farming and offers about twenty varieties of apples and five varieties of pears (also cherries, queens, kiwis). Signs indicate where each variety can be found, and if you are unsure, you can taste at the reception desk to get an idea before filling your crates and wheelbarrow.

20 minutes from Nantes, at the boundary of the border of Department 44, right next to Barbechat, the Boucherau family has been installed for 30 years in this farmhouse where you work hand in hand. In a GAEC, we produce pork meat, but also beef which after slaughter is processed into finished products and sold directly on the farm. So it's the opportunity to buy live boxes of meat for fine days barbecue, a good roast in family, white ham cut any cut fee for walks, smoked ham, short of beautiful cold meats. In addition to meat, dairy cows are the opportunity to produce cheese products: cheese (nantais, cheese, nectaire…) and other finished products with good raw milk, pasteurized half-skimmed!
