Every year since 1979, in November in Nantes, the Festival des 3 Continents offers fiction films and documentaries from Africa, Latin America and Asia. This international film festival, in addition to its geographical particularity, is also distinguished by its passion and curiosity, its taste for discovery and encounters, and overall its love of films from the South and its desire to share them. Founded by the Jalladeau brothers, this event brings together film professionals from all over the world and the informed or amateur public around competitions, previews, short and feature films, retrospectives... One of the biggest fairs in the Great West! Intended for the general public, the Nantes International Fair brings together in one place, on a surface area of 66,000 m², an unprecedented range of products and services from more than 650 exhibitors, including retailers, craftsmen, artists and associations. For 10 days, this show will allow you to discover the different dedicated spaces, from the house and the environment (everything for the home, the garden, the verandas...), to local and world crafts, via leisure and well-being, including motorhomes; the essential gourmet pleasures with wines; regional and national gastronomy with themes; and finally the universe called Discoveries. The complex is punctuated by numerous activities, workshops, exhibitions and other demonstrations.

Each year is held in Vallet, the winner of the great wine competition. The rigour of its organisation, the number of samples in competition makes this competition the real reference of professionals.

Hellfest is THE meeting place for metal, hardcore and punk music in France, with a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of France. With more than fifty thousand festival-goers each year and the presence of internationally renowned cult groups, Hellfest has established itself as one of the main European music festivals and one of the main cultural events in France.

The Festival of the White Country takes place from 7 July to 8 July 2012 in the Quartier neighbourhood in La Baule. It has a Celtic parade of children's groups and a show in the green theatre of the Dryades Park. The Jumping International de France de La Baule will take place at the François-André Stadium.
