Every year since 1979, in November in Nantes, the Festival des 3 Continents offers fiction films and documentaries from Africa, Latin America and Asia. This international film festival, in addition to its geographical particularity, is also distinguished by its passion and curiosity, its taste for discovery and encounters, and overall its love of films from the South and its desire to share them. Founded by the Jalladeau brothers, this event brings together film professionals from all over the world and the informed or amateur public around competitions, previews, short and feature films, retrospectives... Hellfest is THE meeting place for metal, hardcore and punk music in France, with a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of France. At the end of June each year, the festival welcomes more and more people from England, Germany and elsewhere. For this fourteenth edition, the poster is appealing to fans and lovers of the genre, with groups such as Manowar, Anthrax, Gojira, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slash, ZZ Top, Mass Hysteria, The Sisters of Mercy or King of Diamond, Ultra Vomit and Slayer to name but a few of the 150 groups programmed during the 3 days of this now emblematic festival and having contributed to developing the image of the town of Clisson, the region and more globally of the department. The name of the festival was chosen in reference to another festival of the same style created in the United States. With more than fifty thousand festival-goers each year and the presence of internationally renowned cult groups, Hellfest has established itself as one of the main European music festivals and one of the main cultural events in France.

This nice festival, which takes place every two years (years), offers numerous events around the Loire, in Varades, La Chapelle-Basse-Mer, Nantes, Couëron, Cordemais, Paimboeuf. This year, the festival is replaced by ESTUAIRE, with animations from June 6 th to August 23rd.

The Art Galleries Nantes association aims to make us discover or rediscover the universe of the various galleries of the City of Ducs and make the world of art accessible! The bet is won for the second year that had seen the Night of Galeries 2017 associate fifteen galleries to this generous project. The concept is relaxed and the event is free. The Festifolies d'Automne festival is a family-friendly event held every three years in Saint-Aignan-Grandlieu, near the Lac de Grand-Lieu. The latest edition in September 2022 once again attracted local audiences and visitors from Nantes to share unique and unusual moments, all free of charge. It was in 1988 that the very first edition of what would become a few years later an essential event for comic book lovers took place. The Journées de la BD were then organized in Rouans, and each year welcomed authors and illustrators of albums for young and old lovers of bubbles. The opportunity to discover new things, to share your passion with others and to cut the bib with your favorite authors. In 2019, a change of course! The festival is taking place at Le Pellerin; a change that has been repeated for this new edition, which will be held on April 25 and 26 with Margerin as guest of honour, who is also producing the poster.
