Every summer, the VAN invites artists to invest the public space by creating works that change the way we look at the city.

The motto of the Voyage à Nantes is simple: the city turned upside down by art. Every summer, the VAN invites artists to take over emblematic, historic or unmissable sites in the city, creating a contemporary work of art. Whether ephemeral or permanent, these sometimes astonishing works arouse the curiosity and sensibilities of travelers and Nantes residents alike. The urban art trail can be explored on foot or by bike, following a green line marked out on the ground. The Voyage can also be extended beyond Nantes or during the festive season.
