This Italian cafe restaurant is a haven for teachers and bankers. At night, the tone rises with the release of the shows. The atmosphere is that of a luxurious and discreet brasserie. One always tastes there the marvellous rosemary ravioli, a vitello tonnato, a saltimbocca Romana or a grilled sirloin of beef tagliatta, alla rucola, olivo e lmone... As for desserts, we love the Sicilian cassata, the tirami-sù withamaretto, the fruit mille-feuille... The welcome remains warm even late after the show. One of the good addresses of the district!

Alain Paillereau took over the reins of this restaurant in 2021. You're in a house dating back to 1839 in the delightful Bourguillon district, just a few minutes from the center of Fribourg. The chef trained with Éric Frechon, Anne-Sophie Pic and Michel Troigros. He was awarded a Michelin star in 2022. The cuisine gives pride of place to local producers, whether for fish, fruit, vegetables or condiments. The service, of course, matches the setting. The terrace, shaded by chestnut trees, is an inviting place to stroll and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The setting is pretty and rustic, with red and white gingham tablecloths for the meat specialties, such as beef tenderloin heart fondue, charbonnade and entrecôte (from 200 to 500 g!), all served with the cellar's gratin, made with ten kinds of cheese. A real treat. The Charbonnade is excellent, and the service is good.
