In one of the most beautiful villages of France, the Manouvrier family has been at the helm of the establishment for generations and in pure perimeter tradition. It is one of the sons, Christophe who is now in the furnaces to make you taste a simple and tasty cuisine highlighting local products. The chef's menu, depending on season, will regenerate you from a fatty liver of duck cooked to the torgo with its mango chutney, followed by a lamb of duck needles sauce and a chestnut chestnut cream. To the map, the duck confit of sarladese potatoes with ceps (a specialty of the house, true institution since 1948), but one can also opt for a XXL burger with house fries, an omelet of the priest (ceps, snails and foie gras) or shells of spruce stoves. In summer, the patio shady patio is very pleasant. You can also sit on the terrace in front of the restaurant for a drink, eat a salad, or ice cream.

This former hospice of the 17th century, listed as a Historical monument site since 1977 houses a multi-faceted establishment. The place is enchanting and behind the old stones are hidden a pretty courtyard, a restaurant with contemporary and chic decor, a cellar with 200 references, an ice-cream shop not to forget a shop of local products that is mostly found on plates next to fresh market products. A spacious dining room of 150 seats is also open for rent for seminars or family celebrations. The "rêve de glaces" ice cream shop is located in an adjoining building opening onto Rue Albéric Cahuet. About twenty flavours are on offer, everything is homemade by an ice-cream maker who makes ice creams and sorbets in front of us,

Guillaume Pichaud bought the Relais d'Ans where he worked. Fabrice Pichaud joined the family… The summer terrace on the edge of water is nice. Guillaume prepares a homemade cuisine - except for charcuterie and pastry - simple, based on fresh and local produce including some organic vegetables from his garden. There's no dishes with sophisticated names, but everything that you could eat as at home with the little plus of the chef: a Marengo calf, a steak in Roquefort sauce, a pear poached with wine, a true chocolate mousse… On the chalk menu, no more than 3 or 4 dishes at the choice and always homemade pizzas and, in summer, salads. In winter, thematic evenings are organized on reservation and various animations in the afternoon are offered, do not hesitate to inquire.

Under the cliff cliff, the Jugie family has been at the helm since 1947 and does not need to learn the job: The staff were friendly and helpful. The country's products are honoured and well prepared: crystallized or enchaud duck thigh, hen thigh, ceps omelet, etc. The Basement Base is a menu for itself: duck foie, green salad, duck sleeves, vegetables, fries, goat cheese Rocamadour… The regulars attend the establishment for the menu of the day, unbeatable with its soup served in winter, then the entrance, the dish and the dessert always renewed (delicious crumbled to strawberries, chestnut cake…). You can sit on the terrace with views of the valley or under the cliff, or in the cave hall. The house also provides group hosting and even organizes day visits. Note the external toilets, with a "panoramic" expectation: never seen elsewhere.

A beautiful view of Sarlat, a modern, spacious and beautifully decorated room, and a home made kitchen made from local products: This Puits Fleuri is an excellent gastronomic step. On the italy menu, duck rillettes, perigordian salad, duck magret and sarladaises potatoes, cheese and a gourmet café worthy of a large restaurant. You are even offered an aperitif and a digestive. Very good idea that of the boutique Tcompany, which smells good all the teas of the world (55 fragrances), has set up a salon of teas (one can also enter by the back, by the small square of the A. Cahuet street) with internet point and a bio snack: onions to onions or based tomato tomato, pie potimarron spices or leeks-comté to 6,50 €, basing chocolate or apple pie at 5 €, all to taste on site or to take. You can also enjoy coffee (1,50 €) and warm organic chocolates (3,50 €) while admiring the exhibitions offered regularly.

The brand is well established at the regional level, especially on the Atlantic coast. Claudine and Nadine are on the orders of this French coffee shop with warm tones, with hints of oak and coloured wood. The ideal location for a break, as the wifi point is free. You can dine for a salad or a sandwich, croques, quiches and panini. Craquer for specialities based on chocolate and coffee: cappuccino (also iced), iced coffee, Viennese chocolate, coffee latté, flavoured chocolate… and also milk shake and delicious. It's a really delicious place, with a terrace on the sidewalk.

A little air from Spain blows through Lou Bombareau thanks to the patron saint of the place Anita, an Andalusian woman who has lived in Périgord since she was a child. She is in the kitchen and Estelle in the service. The cuisine is homemade from local products and the market. We like the slate from Périgord, made up of a gizzard salad, duck sleeves with cep sauce and homemade fries, all served with a dessert of the day. A la carte: salads, omelettes, but also mussels with curry, blue... The egg casserole is an unconditional. On the menu, there is always a choice between grilled meat, fish with a Spanish sauce and its vegetables of the moment and a ready-made meal. The small restaurant room with its exposed stones and light tones is very pleasant, but in summer you can also enjoy the terrace overlooking the church square. For the feast of Sainte-Catherine, we come from far away to taste the chicken in the pot served with a mushroom sauce.

In the "temple" of the traditional perigordian gastronomy, one can therefore eat conflict at noon and a big Mac in the evening, history of making the balance with périgordo-ricain. Of course, the brand is not hung in a protected sector, but near the Champion supermarket, at the entrance to the town from Montignac. This glass, stone and wood building has all the features and menus of the Mc Do, the Drive formula and if a peak of attendance is expected in summer, the establishment intends to function well all year round. Students in the corner are happy, the duck about also, and it was the children's council that'won the bout'by voting overwhelmingly for this arrival.

The beautiful moulded counter perfectly coexists with the contemporary furniture. The apple green colour, applied by touches here and there, gives you immediately the desire to sit down and eat. In one of the rooms, the ceiling recalls the cave of Lascaux with its famous prehistoric drawings. And to complete the charm of this place, a terrace on the side with wisteria that serve as a parasol. The chef makes simple dishes carefully prepared, well presented, and above all of high quality. The menu is only composed with dishes prepared with good fresh and regional products. The owners come from Normandy and the menu is subject to both effects. The homemade foie gras and its toasts are delicious, the Périgord salad is well garnished and the walnut cake is delicious. Le Comptoir is also a bar where you can take hot and cold drinks throughout the day.

We don't come to Sarlat to eat burgers, but if we're pressed and not very rich, fast food has good, especially this one. Because these Tontons play it without flinching the client. Marion, Julien and all the team realize every minute and everything is made home. They peel their potatoes for fresh fries, fill on demand their burgers, the meat of their kebab cut to the knife is delicious and the onions come back to la plancha, briefly… we ask again. Also a map of crosses, salty or sweet crepes, paninis, milkshakes, etc.

As its name suggests, good pizzas, made from artisanal dough, to eat on the spot or to take away. Three sizes available according to appetites: 26 cm, 30 cm or 40 cm, made with fresh cream or tomato sauce. A wide choice, classics, specials, cheeses, vegetarians....

Eric Brakman has been able to impose his gastronomic touch on La Feuillade. The beautiful and spacious dining room is always an invitation to culinary journeys, as is the covered terrace. On the plate, it's a nice surprise. The unique menu allows you to choose between 4 starters and 6 main courses. For desserts, all the suggestions are on the slate according to the chef's mood (example: chocolate fondant, vanilla ice cream, red fruits and whipped cream). It is a traditional and inventive cuisine of a chef who knows how to optimize the flavours of the dishes used. As he only works with fresh produce, his menu is very changeable, depending on the season: semi-cooked duck foie gras, spicy mango coulis or Rossini style pig's foot toast. For the dishes: a ground/sea (sweetbreads and prawns with crunchy vegetables) or a deglazed veal liver with balsamic vinegar, garlic and chives. The fish are always displayed à la carte according to the arrivals. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. At the end of the service, the chef sometimes comes to greet his customers to find out if everything went well.

This Duo is very pleasant whether it's in winter when you can sit in a large modern dining room where tables are large and well spaced, or in summer on the sunny terrace equipped with contemporary furniture, sofas and armchairs to simply have a drink, and a playground for children. The cuisine adapts to the seasons and all the products used are local. The menu served only for dinner and Sunday is very local: Borrèze trout duo (trout tartare and homemade smoked trout) or tarte tatin with cherry tomatoes and red mullet basil, skewer of "fish Duo" or whole duck breast grilled over a wood fire. Well-garnished salads such as the Pleinefage (salad, gizzard and duck manchon, homemade half-cooked foie gras and walnuts) and grilled meats are the specialties of the house as well as the homemade ice creams of Bruno Marien in Vézac. A space is dedicated to the sale of products of producers supplying the bistro as well as some craftsmen sculptors, painter or potter.

Jérôme Feletin is both the boss of La Maison and the chef. He welcomes customers in a very original and well thought-out setting. Son of an auctioneer, he has collected objects that constitute a very personal collection. The flowered garden is a small haven of peace and the terrace is particularly pleasant. You feel good inside and outside and even better when the dishes prepared with subtlety and efficiency arrive: sea bream ceviche, homemade tarama, cod eggs and crab, truffle pasta, snails with Maroilles and sweet garlic, but also vegetarian and vegan dishes. We have come a long way for his fabulous, melting and tasty beef prime rib. The carte changes regularly. Wine by the glass at very affordable prices. The wines are mainly bought from a wine store at Les Eyzies. You can sleep on site in one of the five beautifully decorated guest rooms, located just next to the restaurant.
