La Botiga of Maison Pélégris in Sarlat is both a delicatessen and a tasting place. Nosco is a local restaurant and wine bar with a warm, modern decor. Audric Jac, originally from Isère, fell under the spell of the Périgord Noir. He offers a wide range of wines from the South-West, the Loire Valley, Burgundy, Champagne and much more. The foie gras house of Domme is one of the oldest stores in the Sarladais. It has remained in its 1960's decoration, when it was created by the Castant couple, which gives it a certain charm. It is a grocery store specialized in the products of Périgord: specialities of foie gras to be spread and pâtés with pieces, soups, cooked dishes, truffles, mushrooms, sweetnesses, aperitifs and digestives and of course wine. Geneviève's new shop is located between the Jardin de Simples and the Hotel Dieu. This certified herbalist from the Lyon School is full of good advice for her customers. A pastry chef by trade from the Périgord region, Roland Manouvrier is a renowned master ice cream maker. He handcrafts ice creams and sorbets with subtle, gourmet flavors, using fruit, flowers and spices. We love his jasmine, rose petal and violet ice creams, his espresso coffee, fleur de sel caramel, marron glacé, Périgord walnut and Périgord strawberry sorbets. No retail sales, but all the ice creams can be sampled in several restaurants and stores in the Périgord Noir.

Located in the heart of Sarlat, the store sells alcohols made in the old Lapouge Distillery in Madrazes, founded in 1860, which later became Distillerie du Périgord. Their offer is based on the Périgord region: ratafia, walnut liqueurs, truffle or chestnut based aperitifs... Not forgetting their range of Lascaw whisky, aged between 5 and 20 years! The Distillerie du Périgord has also launched culinary aids: wines and infusions of mushrooms ready to use for deglazing, marinating, flaming... Recipes are even available on their website!
