Wines and spirits Périgord Noir

Founded in 1983, this brand aims to give pride of place to local wines, especially from the Bergerac region. The wines on offer come either from family vineyards, or from Julien de Savignac's own winegrowers, or from partner vineyards in the region, of course. For example, Château Thénac, Château Briand-Bergerac, Domaine des Costes and many other vintages can be found in the various wine shops of the brand, which is well established in the Dordogne (Périgueux, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Brantôme).

Located in the heart of Sarlat, the store sells alcohols made in the old Lapouge Distillery in Madrazes, founded in 1860, which later became Distillerie du Périgord. Their offer is based on the Périgord region: ratafia, walnut liqueurs, truffle or chestnut based aperitifs... Not forgetting their range of Lascaw whisky, aged between 5 and 20 years! The Distillerie du Périgord has also launched culinary aids: wines and infusions of mushrooms ready to use for deglazing, marinating, flaming... Recipes are even available on their website!

Also present in Périgueux, Le Bugue, Paris and its suburbs, this brand continues to develop. Professionals, and above all lovers of the Périgord region, these wine merchants offer you a selection of the best Bergerac wines such as Château de Tiregand, Château de la Jaubertie, Château la Tour des Gendres, etc. Of course, the other great vineyards also have their place there as well as other jewels of our region; liqueurs and brandies, confits and other foie gras. A shop that can make you want to discover all these worlds.

It is the story of a passion and a beautiful adventure that led to the creation of this brewery. Here, everything is organic and local, including the nearby green printing house that takes care of the labels. The electricity supplier is Planète oui (100% renewable electricity supplier). The cleaning of the tanks is done with a high pressure cleaner and a steam generator, no chemicals. The most important thing is the beers and they are delicious! Sale on site and through the network of retailers on the website.

An excellent wine and beer cellar run by a couple of very friendly enthusiasts! There are no silly questions to ask, whether about a beer denomination or the best wine to choose for an aperitif with friends or a family dinner. Local products are generously featured, from walnut-based aperitifs and BAM beers to Bergerac wines and creations from the Ort distillery. There's something for every preference, every occasion, and every wallet.

Make no mistake: "Ailleurs-la-gnac" is not a village in Périgord Noir, but an excellent beer brewed by a micro-brewery in Rouffignac. Sold at local markets as far afield as Périgueux, it's a great incentive to prepare locavore aperitifs (and bring back authentic sparkling souvenirs - there's something for everyone). Bière de Sarlat is the brainchild of two enthusiasts, Xavier Gombert and Jean Yves Fauste. One is an agricultural engineer, the other a world paragliding champion. They set up their craft brewery three years ago, investing in modern tools and using high-quality, GMO-free ingredients. Brassée 24" is available in brown, blond, amber and even walnut liqueur! They were awarded a gold medal for their blond beer at the 2019 Salon de l'agriculture.

It's a fine traditional distillery with a fine reputation. This traditional distillery was founded by Raymond Gatinel, then a "bouilleur ambulant", and is now run by his son Jacques, who carefully preserves the secrets of making pear, plum, cherry, apricot and other eaux-de-vie. Aperitifs, fruits à la liqueur, creams and liqueurs complete this fine selection of eaux-de-vie with a well-deserved reputation.
