Issam and Soufiane prefer Italian fresh products and recipes, especially for homemade pasta, and they have added the small local flavours that make good for morale: ingredients that have attracted the most difficult and one can only welcome the hand of the two young people who are committed to quality. You will find on the map the big classics but we, what we have preferred, are homemade creations like Gascony with fresh cream, gizzards and duck magret or Buffalo with its astonishing barbecue cream, its square beef and turkey bacon! Regional and sweet-salted specialities are present, as well as varieties of seafood or fish. The slices invite you to the menu around five meats, a nice option for a delicious little trough. Both clear and subdued, design and timeless, the place plays with the paradoxes of red pepper, strong or delicate. The plates, on the other hand, focus only on quality and the festival begins with a central buffet where the entrances are free. Specialising in grilled meats in all its forms, the establishment offers an extremely varied menu. Tasty and melting meats, cooked to perfection with generous portions, are served with sea bass fillets, pork ribs to enjoy alone or in pairs or a fondue with pork with Saint-Marcellin pork. Success for the gourmands, the cocottes of the moment, according to the inspiration of the chef who can combine tuna and ratatouille! The menu also features an amazing Alsatian sauerkraut hot dog. A beautiful menu of desserts and ice cream cups to enjoy on the terrace under the palm trees or in the dining room. This place is ideal for a family outing as it includes a playground for children!

Make no mistake about it, even if Charles' little British accent is not typical of Toy country, the owner of this charming little restaurant located in the heart of old Luz, has managed to integrate into local life and adapt to French taste. In cooking, it is the trademark: osso-buco, lamb and trout come from the valley. Trout are steamed and delicately lemony for flavours that are brought to the top! The chef prepares simple and good dishes at a reasonable cost and, in winter, cheese fondue and raclette, the real thing, are served at the table. Within an hour of Toulouse, Le Relais Gascon enjoys an exceptional setting with panoramic views over the lake of Thoux-Saint-Cricq. This small, family-friendly troquet offers regional cuisine, both traditional and abundant but only made up of fresh products… and Martine, the chef, keeps it there! Outside typical Gers, including the excellent Tatin pie in the Foie gras or the delicious goat crispy, she does not hesitate to enrich the map following her inspiration. We recommend the walnuts of saint-Jacques to hazelnuts, a beautiful combination of flavours or the beef pad, based on wish! Dessert proposals change every day, but you're sure to find the essential crisp to apples. From the fine days, the garden and its terrace open to the rays of the sun and it's an additional charm to this establishment, which we love the kindness of the patron, the quick service, the magnificent view of the dungeon and the typical Land atmosphere.

Ten miles south of Marcillac, here is an address to test absolutely. The important clientele of the hotel's clientele is a sign of quality that does not fool! Recipes are passed on from generation to generation, which does not prevent the chef from risking some culinary digress. It turns out that the result is really convincing. The traditional lamb ribs, ris lamb to the ceps and stockfisch side with preparations with exotic flavours such as excellent duck duck to the dice of mango. The pleasant surroundings, the family atmosphere and the inventive kitchen make this hostel a unique address in the region, which also supplies the canteens of the local establishments, and feeds small schoolchildren to good regional products.

In a huge room decorated with Victorian club style, mahogany and copper furniture and thick carpet, everything invites to order some selected draught beers (to eat with moderation, obviously). We are here in Paris, formerly the Bureau, but the spirit and style have been preserved. On the walls, old American ads of the s contrasts with engravings, with a certain unity of style.
