Clémence Bernard, full of joie de vivre, has been devoting herself to chocolate since 2002, at a time when her grandmother's cakes made her salivate. She prefers small chocolate preparations, just like those of her grandmothers. Not very sweet, with almonds from Provence and above all not very strong. Origins Ivory Coast and Ghana. The Valouson, with its clear, fresh water, offers all the qualities Pascal Beuque is looking for. His aquaculture farm takes care of the different stages, from breeding, growing and cutting to the finished product. The rainbow trout is the queen of the ponds here. You can buy it gutted, in fillets, smoked and even fried trout. And as our man is enterprising, he prepares derived specialities: eggs in verrine, rillettes, terrines, quenelles, velvets. In season, the frogs are the delight of the greatest tables.

Jean-Pierre and Jean-Yves Boisson are as discreet as their highly prized hillside. They will welcome you in all simplicity, including by Marie-Noëlle, Jean-Pierre's wife. The 7 hectares produce mainly whites with a unique expression. An alternation of blue marl, clay-limestone and scree. The grapes are not destemmed at the pressing. The juice is then transferred to tuns and barrels. Only one vintage is usually sold. Here, we give time to time. The "tradition" is a pearl in its category. Excellent value for money.

This downtown boutique honours the Billiotte biscuit factory, a Montbéliard artisanal company. The Comptoir des Gourmandises is the only retailer in the Jura. There are irresistible specialities such as Haut-Doubs Dries with flavoured milk cream or comté cheese. More than 45 varieties of biscuits with multiple flavours, dry or soft, are available in self-service or in assortments. Shortbread, croquettes, mini-macaroons, muffins, cookies and appetizers match the gift baskets. This delicatessen shop completes its salty and sweet range with local products made in Jura. Céline Mossu welcomes you in her charming store of regional products. It is in an old winegrower's farmhouse with a wine cellar look that Céline highlights the family products and the local producers. Wines, jams, honeys, syrups and other flavors of the region await you. You can enjoy the terrace with its bohemian and romantic decoration to taste the products of the store or spend an evening with family or friends! Throughout the summer, Céline organizes animated evenings in a friendly atmosphere.

This old servant goes round and round and round for a long time to come. The only "organic" mill in the Jura (Ecocert label) and the last water mill in Franche-Comté, it never ceases to amaze young and old alike. The Magdelaine family has owned it for 7 generations. But it appears in deeds in 1362, entering into the share of the local lord Eudes de Vaudrey. Built on the Cuisance, a tributary of the Loue, flanked by its paddle wheel, its stone millstone grinds the grains tirelessly to bequeath wheat, rye, spelt and buckwheat flours. Type 45 and 55, they are suitable for classic pasta or bread dough, i.e. 500 tons per year. Chantal and Jean Berthet-Bondet left everything behind in 1984, leaving their profession as agricultural engineers. In love with the Jura wines, it was in the most famous city of yellow wine that they chose to create their estate. Having no family ties to the wine industry, they built up their estate plot by plot. 15 hectares now, in agrobiology since 2010, a third of which is Château-Chalon. Since 2018, their daughter Hélène has joined them. The white wines, including the famous yellow wine, and other wines, whether or not they are oaked, largely occupy the barrel. A warm welcome guaranteed.

Sumptuous vaulted and ribbed cellars will not let your visit without reaction in this splendid domain. They date from the 16th century and give a foretaste of what awaits you. Annie and Jean-Luc settled here in 1991. Today, the couple owns 11 hectares, mainly of white wines, including the most famous AOC Château-Chalon. A particularity here: the yellow wines are matured in the attic! The Mouillards favour above all varietal wines. On the red side, we really appreciated this "Cousin", a cousin of the macvin, made with fine grapes.

Marion Mathez joined her fellow farmer Adrien Poncet in 2018. Not to work with him, but to create her "Mamellerie", her organic cheese factory that she opened after training at the organic ENIL in Poligny. Since then, she has been making 1,000 organic yoghurts a day in her laboratory (flavoured, two-layer, stirred), as well as butter, 10 kg of cream, 100 kg of fromage blanc and faisselles. She sells everything directly, including whole milk. The next step is ice cream. The dairywoman has opened her shop. She is also present at the Germigney market.

Ranked in the top 5 of our best chocolate makers, Edouard Hirsinger is the^4th generation to perpetuate this chocolate dynasty. If he is the author of many seasonal creations, he has not forgotten those of his grandfather and great-grandfather, the Galet and the Tous t'chefs. The cakes are also marvellous, such as the Arboisien, the Monaco, the Régent and the Damier (the customers' favourite). The shop is sober and chic and is spread out on a terrace in good season. With a little time, you can also visit the workshop-museum of the origins.

Marcel Petite's Comté is THE star of the region, but it's also exported internationally, spreading its finesse and subtlety far and wide. In 1966, Marcel Petite had the idea of aging Comté in the former military fort of Saint-Antoine. He refined the technique and adapted to the temperature and humidity of the site, building a veritable underground cathedral for Comtois cheese. Other Comtois cheeses are of course also available from this creamery, which is a must-stop on your visit to Pontarlier.

This dairy cooperative produces, matures (in part) and offers its own Comté cheese and products from the local trade. Mild, fruity or aged, the flavours enchant the palate with the rhythm of the maturing process (up to 20 months). Comté cheese but also morbier, cow's cheese rubbed with Jura wine and four spices rub shoulders with Arbois wines, Clerval honey and Mouthier-haute-Pierre beers. The tourist office offers a discovery tour in summer - booking required.

Mocafé, a delicatessen located in the old town of Belfort, is a veritable nugget for lovers of fine, authentic products. As soon as you enter, the delicious aroma of coffee envelops you. Mocafé stands out above all for its selection of Grand Cru and specialty "Grande Origine" coffees, from Honduras, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Congo... Mocafé also offers a fine selection of teas, infusions, wines, spirits and gourmet products. Coffee roasting here is a family tradition, handed down from generation to generation. The manager will be happy to guide you in your choice.

What an irresistible rise Patricia and Christian have made since 1976, when the Pêcheur parents farmed just 1 ha. They now produce 8 hectares of 5 Jura grape varieties. What's special here is the age of the vines, which range from 35 to 50 years. The crucial stage is obviously the harvest: first the vin de paille, for which the bunches are pampered, then the chardonnay for crémants and still wines. Then come the reds, and finally the savagnin and the Jura star, the vin jaune, including an excellent Château-Chalon.

Jean-Louis and Françoise Tissot have now entrusted the destiny of their vineyard to their children Valérie and Jean-Christophe. This 17-hectare estate in Montigny-les-Arsures and Arbois is still run with great respect for Mother Nature. In barrel, the Tissots don't rush their wines made from the 5 authorized grape varieties. In the land of the red "Trousseau", they have produced a remarkable 2013 yellow wine. It's best to let us know when you're coming.

Terre comtoise was born of the merger of 3 agricultural cooperatives. If you're familiar with Gamm Vert stores, you'll know that these are the distribution outlets for the cooperative's various products. The stores offer a vast and varied range of products and equipment for the agricultural world and the general public. The promotion of products from BFC agriculture is a value defended in these stores, notably under the Nous Autrement label.

Hugo Sublet perpetuates the family know-how. The packaging has changed since 1856, but not the manufacturing (glass bottle and mechanical stopper). The ingredients are the same: cane sugar, agave syrup, pure water from the Massif, natural flavours. Sold all over the world, this bubbly drink is drunk at the production site on Friday afternoon. The organic lemonade echoes childhood memories. It has been expanded to include rose, orange blossom, ginger, peppermint and elderberry. Others have regional flavours. 19 references in total.

The Maison du Vigneron, based in Crançot, has a superb showcase in what used to be the winegrowing district of the prefecture town. For 10 years now, grandson Valentin has been at the helm of the Morel family domaine. 7 ha in AOC Côtes du Jura, farmed organically and biodynamically. The range includes excellent chardonnay, savagnin, pinot noir, poissard and crémants. White and red, then, but also some formidable UFOs like "L'Albinos" (a poissard vinified as a white) and "Savagnin En Bois d'Arnaux" which, conversely, is vinified as a red wine.

Located at an altitude of 750 metres between Valdahon and Morteau, the Flangebouche dairy was founded in 1840! Today, it has 54 farmers on 30 farms. A store will welcome you to discover all the flavors of Franche-Comté: comté, morbier, tomme and raclette, as well as a wide selection of regional products. The fruitière has been completely renovated and modernized, with the addition of a modern, tasteful sales area.

This cooperative, created in 1836, is located on the banks of the Seille, in the heart of the vineyards between Lons and Château-Chalon. It groups together 23 farms from 15 surrounding communes and processes 8 million litres of milk per year into raw milk cheeses. Comtés take pride of place with a range of cheeses that can be matured for up to 24 months. Then come morbier, tomme and raclette. Like its neighbours, this dairy has also become a local shop. The reward: a gold medal in 2020 at the Concours Général Agricole for its old Comté.

We enter Baud's house in an old domain dating back to the 18th century and where 8 generations have succeeded one another. Today, the young people of the 9th generation run the estate. It counts 25 hectares on 3 AOC: Côtes du Jura, Étoile and Château-Chalon. A reasoned viticulture certified Terra Vitis producing exceptional wines. And to complete their work on the land, they exploit some orchards to offer you Mirabelle plum and William's pear brandies.

After your stay in the Jura, you won't have the opportunity to buy so easily these delicious cheeses and products that you have tasted during your stay. Since 1970, this company has specialized in mail order sales. Among the cheeses you can order, the Juraflore comté which is a regularly awarded pearl, the mont d'Or is just as much, without forgetting the bleu de Gex and morbier. With his son Joris joining him, Michel Faudot can look to the future with serenity, and continue the dynasty that began in 1879. The medals won each year in the most prestigious competitions are proof of the know-how of this lineage launched by Louis the founder. A specialist of the "melon with red tail", you will also find here a red pinot "cuvée braise d'été" elaborated without sulfite. If you can't visit the cellars, this winegrower's house also has a cellar in downtown Arbois, under the arcades.

With one hundred and ten years of history, this cooperative continues its path with the future of a tradition as its leitmotiv. 65 ha for an annual production of 350 000 litres of wine. 45% of the wine comes from Arbois-Pupillin, 20% from Arbois, 15% from Côtes-du-Jura, 16% from Crémant and 4% from Macvin. The cellars and the bottling workshop are in the centre of the village as well as the tasting room. The tasting room has been thoroughly redesigned for a better reception. This cooperative takes part in many national events.

More than two years ago, Clémentina Martinez opened this charming boutique. It is ideally located along the national road which crosses the village and, with its storefront, it is difficult to miss it. The commune revives since there was no more butcher in Parcey for more than twenty years. All meats are prepared in the shop lab and come from the corner. Clémentina also proposes to sell cured and regional products: Comtois jams and macaroons, county, cheese, cancoillotte, gaude cakes, blueberry sausage, bull and even kangaroo. Our last stroke of heart? Brisselets in the county. A treat!

There are market days in front of Ghislaine and Philippe Garnichet's shop, located on a tiny street that leads to National Square. Under the arcades of a former house, before which the mother of the writer Bernard Clavel sold Flowers, she is not so small as it appears. As its name indicates, there are cheeses and those of the Jura have a beautiful share. You can also buy other carefully selected local products: wines, honey, cured, biscuits, beer… The perfect place to make the full of franc flavours! Nestled in an old residence, in front of the Sarret Museum in Grozon, this shop houses Philippe Gonet's passion. It shows that a great vinegar can also be appreciated in terms of aromas, length in the mouth, and harmony with refined dishes.
