An initiation course of 90 m (45 minutes and 15 minutes échappatoire) allows children (minimum size required: 1,10 m) to discover too, the joys of via ferrata. This 9 kilometer route between Chariez and Mont-le-Vernois allows you to pedal at your own pace on an old railroad. You will discover surprising landscapes and even cross a three hundred year old oak tree! The " Bike-Rails " can accommodate 4 or 5 passengers each. Some " Bike Rails ", including one with solar energy, are equipped to accommodate a person with reduced mobility in a wheelchair. All of them have a large platform to put a baby seat or luggage. Grandes Traversées du Jura coordinates and develops activities on the GR5 and GR9 routes. 180 public and private organizations are members. In winter, snowshoeing is one of the most practical and efficient ways to explore and enjoy the landscape. From the starting point of the ski jump, two marked routes of 3 km and 5 km are accessible. These routes are suitable for beginners, who can rent their own snowshoes. A third trail, extending for around 3 km, starts from the Pré-Poncet side, offering an opportunity to discover the surrounding high plateaus.
