His Crémant Chardonnay has been awarded 17.5/20 in the 2021 ranking of Alsace crémants by the German magazine VINUM. At the head of the Seilly domain since 1990, Marc diversified the productions of his family estate born in 1865. The Vendanges Tardives and the selection of Noble Grains are among the most popular. He was born by the visit of Emperor Ferdinand I in 1562, astonished by the reaction of the first Magistrate of Obernai, who denied him the best raw wines then intended for the inhabitants of the city. The Emperor gave him a gift of a pistol by asking him to "put him to more effronty than he could find a"! All bottles are available for sale in the shop and Marc will make you visit his cellar with pleasure to see the imposing oak beams. This family estate of 20 ha is managed by Dominique and his sons (Julien, in the cellar, and Thiébaud, in the business). Organic since 1997 and biodynamic since 2001, the common passion for vines and wine started with Dominique's father Charles and his brother Jean-Pierre in 1963. Stop by their bioclimatic cellar in solid wood for a little tasting. Try the fruity, long-lasting 2019 Pinot Noir Quintessence with soft, melting tannins or the dry, mineral Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein 2019 with citrus notes.

Jacques and Christophe Lindenbaum use organic and biodynamic farming methods to run their 12 ha estate created by their ancestors more than two centuries ago. They have long practiced grassing the vines: they sow flowers to encourage biodiversity and are always on the lookout for new or old techniques to improve their working methods. Since 2012, they have been experimenting with natural wines, without any inputs. "Only grapes... and love", they say, served by beautiful terroirs: the place called Coteau du Stierkopf (south-facing, clay-limestone soil on a sandstone subsoil) where gewurztraminer, riesling and pinot noir are perfectly suited; as well as the places called Husaren and Rangenberg. They vinify all the Alsatian grape varieties as well as Crémant d'Alsace. To discover during your visit, some good vintages with unusual names: Sylvaner Matin Fou 2014, Pinot Gris Des Racines et des Ailes 2017, Pinot Noir À Pas de Velours 2015, Alsace rosé Les Papillons de Mireille, without forgetting the delicious Pet'Nat (natural sparkling) "Après l'Heure"!

Following in the footsteps of her father Lucien Goettelmann, knight of agricultural merit, Cathy passionately manages this 9-hectare HVE3-certified estate whose origins date back to the ^19th century. Her children represent a^third generation of ecologically responsible winegrowers and are preparing to take over. Cathy welcomes you for a commented tasting, preferably by appointment. Three guest rooms and a studio are available on the estate, each designed to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

Albert Seltz is a rock'n'roll character, an ardent defender of Sylvaner. He is the ^16th generation in charge of this family estate with a splendid cellar dating from 1576 and carved out of the rock! On the 7,3 ha are practiced a viticulture and a wine making respectful of nature and tradition. The reputation of the wines of the Albert Seltz estate is well known, especially with its sylvaner vintages produced on the Zotzenberg. Most of the wines are vinified in stainless steel tanks, except for the Pinot Noir, Sylvaner and Auxerrois which are vinified in barrels.

Le Clos Meckert is a winery offering a wide selection of Alsace wines. Their website allows you to order their wines online, with a delivery service available. La Distillerie de Strasbourg works with local products, all of which are ecologically and socially responsible, and all of which are certified organic. A gin, a vodka and a malt spirit have already been created in the workshop of this micro-distillery, but the ideas, imagination and trials for new, ever tastier drinks are flourishing. Press'ta'bière, it's Alsatian and craft beers with more than 180 references and 24 brewers (The Grillen brewery in Colmar, the Storig beer brewed in Schiltigheim in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, the unavoidable Perle de Strasbourg, the Uberach beers...) ! The great novelty that Press'ta'bière is the only shop to offer is draught beer to take away, because in addition to selling bottled beers, the establishment offers two of its references in the form of draught beer bottled on site, and which will soon be joined by others. The beers on offer change every two weeks and there are some amazing beers like coconut- horseradish!

Bruno Schloegel manages with brio this renowned 10 ha estate spread over 6 terroirs all located in the two hills of the village of Wolxheim. This enlightened winegrower is very concerned about the balance between vines, wildlife and wild flora and fauna in order to allow the vine to find its place in a living environment. The estate is very proud of the ophrys that invite themselves in the middle of its muscat plantations. Vines woven into liana for healthy, ripe grapes, picked and placed whole in the press. Minimalist vinification: spontaneous fermentation, the only input being sulphites. The aim is to preserve the precision and personality of the wines obtained. Alsace wines which are, in the words of Bruno Schloegel, "free, wild and organic"! In the tasting room, you can taste with pleasure the Riesling Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim, the Pinot Gris Horn, the Pinot Noir Barriques, or the Crémant Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature.

Beevrac is a bulk grocery store offering products that are a little different from the others, with some great nuggets unearthed just about everywhere. Beyond the unbeatable prices compared to other stores, you can put everything in your own personal jars, which you should remember to bring along: bicarbonate, washing powder, crystal vinegar or even toilet gel. In Wolxheim, this family wine estate with strong environmental convictions cultivates its vines with respect for tradition and the soil. She will also welcome you in her gîte in a half-timbered house in Saint-Hippolyte. Available all year round, it accommodates up to four people with all the comforts. A loyal clientele of regulars maintains the reputation of the Gerber et Fils estate.

Vincent and Lucie Woerly manage 8 hectares of vines spread over the local area, as well as in Scherwiller and Dieffenthal. The estate owns plots of land in the Grand Cru Frankstein and in the Breitstein area. Vincent offers a range of seven Alsatian grape varieties, including the delicate Riesling Vieilles Vignes and Grand Cru Frankstein. The Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Frankstein is worth discovering because it surprises with its aromatic richness and its mineral finish. Guided tours of the vineyard are organised in the summer months, accompanied by picnics.

This family estate is located in a superb setting between Mont Sainte-Odile and the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. Heirs of several generations of winegrowers, Claudine and Stève Dresch run their beautiful family estate with brio. All the Alsatian grape varieties are grown on this 8.5 ha estate, including 1 ha on the Winzenberg Grand Cru, a granite terroir where Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer are planted. The vineyard is alternately planted with grass and ploughed every other row, pneumatic press and temperature-controlled fermentation, oak tuns: the house happily combines tradition and modernity. You will enjoy a visit to the cellar, which dates back to the 16th century (1510). The estate produces in particular a dry and mineral Riesling, with a nose of citrus fruits and white flowers, a Gewurztraminer Vieilles Vignes from a rich and floral clay soil, and Alsace crémants.

The André Carl & Fils estate extends over 6 hectares spread over different terroirs. Supported by his wife, Anne, Olivier Carl, heir of the family, runs his vines in organic farming. These wine and vine enthusiasts produce with talent the seven grape varieties of Alsace in four ranges: Tradition, Cuvées Spéciales, Vendanges tardives, Crémants. Here are some good bottles to discover during your visit at Olivier and Anne's: Rose des Sables (fresh and balanced summer rosé), Sylvaner Vieilles Vignes (pretty aromas of vine peach and mirabelle plum), Gewurztraminer Cuvée Anne (round, mellow and gourmet), Crémant d'Alsace L'Instant R (fruity and tangy Riesling). Olivier Carl is currently developing a very interesting range for lovers of natural wines, including a delicious Riesling "Car la Nature est douce" and a superb Pinot Noir L'Authentique, both made without added inputs or sulphite.

This family farm of 12 ha is certified organic since 2013. Very fragmented, the estate owns plots of land in the Fronholz and Hertenstein districts. It also produces a remarkable Klevener de Heiligenstein. In addition to welcoming individuals, the winery organizes group visits, discoveries of the vineyard, visits of the chapel, followed by meals with tasting of the wines of the domain and regional products. Two comfortable gîtes (for 2 to 7 people) are located on the estate, which also welcomes camper vans on reservation.

This store is a great showcase for the homonymous domain, run by Damien and Nicolas Sohler, with no less than 29 hectares of vines producing all seven Alsatian grape varieties. On the spot, the tasting will allow you to choose your favorite bottle or bottles. In particular a Crémant Riesling stamped with 2 stars in the Guide Hachette des Vins 2023. Biodynamic and organic, Ferme de Truttenhausen offers its finest products. These culinary treasures include vegetables, cereals and dairy products from dairy cows raised under the best possible animal welfare and feeding conditions. If you don't prefer to come and see for yourself, you can take advantage of the farmers' markets in front of the Ancienne Douane in Strasbourg, in Obernai or at the AMAPs in Mittelbergheim, Heiligenstein and Illkirch.

In the heart of Alsace, the Brasserie artisanale de Saint-Pierre passionately produces unfiltered, unpasteurized beers from refermentation in the bottle. Visit the brewery and take advantage of the brewing workshops offered to learn more about beer. Then taste one at the brewery counter or on the terrace and stock up! This wine shop has a wide selection. The list of Alsatian winemakers includes a majority of organic or biodynamic wines. The other grape varieties come from vineyards in Burgundy, the Jura, Beaujolais and the Loire. The beers come from breweries in the Lower and Upper Rhine. As for the spirits, whiskies, rums and cognacs, they come from all over the world. In the delicatessen section, emblematic partners of the region: Christine Ferber, Foies gras Artzner, Raifalsa condiments... The store also offers various gift ideas.

This cellar specialises in sparkling wines and crémants, with personalised vintages: the Pierre Larousse Blanc de Blanc Brut (Prestige range) exists in 0.75 l bottles, magnum and jeroboam. The Cavalier (Classique range) is available in white, rosé and sweet red, the FB Dumont (Privilège range) in brut and demi-sec. The crémants (white or rosé) come from various regions: Alsace of course, but also Loire, Saumur and Burgundy. The annual production capacity is 35 million bottles per year, which places the company among the largest in the world in terms of volume.

This charming family estate of 11 ha spreads over 60 parcels around Nothalten, notably on the Grand Cru Moenchberg (volcanic), but also on the terroirs of Fronholz (loess), Heissenberg (sandstone), Zellberg (marl-sandstone) and Clos Rebberg (schist). The estate is certified High Environmental Value and Terra Vitis. Moreover, it is in conversion to organic farming since the 2018 vintage. The cultivation of the vines is adapted on a case-by-case basis with respect for the soil. Passionate about nature, Philippe and his daughters Lydie and Marine use the virtues of wild plants combined with the cycle of the moon to preserve the well-being of their vineyard. In the cellar, the winemaking process consists in preserving the purity of the fruit and revealing the quintessence of the terroirs. These beautiful and good practices give birth to fine and elegant wines, such as the Hassenberg 2017 Riesling (nice lemony minerality) and the Moenchberg 2017 Grand Cru Riesling (salty and brioche notes). As for the pinot noir Cuvée Matéo-Dionysos 2016 (aged 12 months in barrels and unfiltered), it seduces with its kirschy notes and silky tannins. A visit (preferably by appointment) is a must to taste the excellent vintages of Domaine Philippe Sohler, which are available in three ranges: "Les Origines" (traditional cuvées), "Les Sol'Aires" (terroir cuvées) and "Les Confidentielles" (atypical cuvées). To go further in the discovery of its wines, the Sohler family organizes every Wednesday, from mid-July to the end of August, upon reservation, memorable dinners in the heart of its magnificent vineyard!

Certified HVE since March 2020, this 10-hectare estate is located in the districts of Wolxheim, Avolsheim and Molsheim. Winegrowers from father to son for many generations, the Goetz family is now represented by Mathieu and Louis, who joined the family business in 2009. The domain benefits from plots of land on beautiful soils, especially on the Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim. Mathieu and Louis produce fruity and well-structured wines. We love the Pinot Noir Cuvée Louis, aged in barrels, with superb notes of aniseed cherry.

Certified organic in 2022, this estate run by Claude and his sons Guillaume (in the vines) and Ludovic (in the shop) is a story of passion and daring! With 40 ha of vines, the domaine offers a wide range of wines, including "Les Prémices" with its fresh, floral Riesling, the "Sélections Singulières", the "Grands Crus", the "Vendanges Tardives" and the organic range. A particular favorite is the Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives 2019, awarded one star in the Guide Hachette des Vins.
