The philharmonic orchestra's programming is multi-faceted and open to all: chamber music, symphonic concerts, film-concert for young audiences, operas and even various workshops! Winner of the Victoires de la Musique and numerous other awards, the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg is also the oldest philharmonic orchestra in France. Young conductor prodigy Aziz Shokhakimov took over the musical and artistic direction of the orchestra in September 2021, for a high-flying program, alongside the greatest soloists of our time.

The Illiade is the cultural centre of the town of Illkirch-Graffenstaden, whose programming is as good as that of any other big city. Located in a former 18th century farmhouse, Le Cheval Blanc is one of the main cultural venues in the town of Schiltigheim. Its hall can accommodate 170 spectators, its sound and light control system guarantees a good quality of performance. Throughout the year, plays, shows, concerts and film screenings are organised. Sélestadian epicureans dreamed of it... Caroline Bauer has done it! The founder of this friendly wine bar has wisely chosen to set up shop on Place d'Armes, right in Sélestat's historic center. Here, at lunchtime, you can indulge in delicious and generous tartines. Then, in the evening, it's time for tapas, bruschettas and other cheese and charcuterie boards. Of course, you can also just come in for a glass of wine, carefully selected from estates all over France and beyond.
