When to go to Bourges ? Bourges can be visited all year round. The peak tourist season is in the summer and the biggest crowd is during the Printemps de Bourges, which has been held in April for over 40 years. Another tourist highlight is the Fête des Marais in early September, during the weekend closest to Saint Fiacre (patron saint of gardeners). At this time, the gardens are beautiful and the marshes are dressed in soft colors. You can see the parade of illuminated boats and the floating market and model making.
