When to go to Bourges ? Bourges can be visited all year round. The peak tourist season is in the summer and the biggest crowd is during the Printemps de Bourges, which has been held in April for over 40 years. Another tourist highlight is the Fête des Marais in early September, during the weekend closest to Saint Fiacre (patron saint of gardeners). At this time, the gardens are beautiful and the marshes are dressed in soft colors. You can see the parade of illuminated boats and the floating market and model making. Add the Medieval Festivals in June and the BulleBerry Festival in October dedicated to comics. In December, January and February, you won't enjoy strolling through the streets.
Bourges has a temperate climate with both continental and oceanic influences. The average temperature ranges from 40°C in January to 20°C in July. June is the sunniest month and May is the month with the most rainfall.
