Famous for its caves, the village of Arcy-sur-Cure is also well worth a visit, starting with its historical heritage and that of the surrounding hamlets. In the village, in addition to the parish church of Saint-Martin (whose foundations date back to the 13th century), the bridge spanning the Cure (built in the 18th century) is worth a visit, as are the remains of the seigniorial château de Digogne and that of Vieux Champs, on the neighbouring hill. Last but not least, the town's archaeological collection, founded in 1902 by Abbé Parat, is on display in educational showcases in the town hall: the perfect introduction to the caves!
