Day 1: Confluence stopover

Steps: Decize, La Machine

The Confluence stopover will open the doors of the South Nivernais where you will discover the old mining town of La Machine as well as the beautiful Decize. There, don't miss the Halles promenade. 985 meters long and built in 1771, it is one of the oldest plantations of plane and lime trees in France. It has even been listed as a historical monument since 1932.

Day 2: Escale Nature

Steps: Bazolles, Châtillon-En-Bazois, Corbigny, Moulins-Engilbert

Make way for the Nature stopover, when you will reach Corbigny from Moulins-Engilbert via Châtillon-en-Bazois and Bazolles, under the green landscapes of the Morvan and close to the Vaux and Baye ponds that feed the canal.

Day 3: Floating stopover

Steps: Clamecy, Châtel-Censoir, Coulanges-Sur-Yonne

The floating stopover will start in Clamecy, whose superb historic center is a must-see. Then you will go to the south of theYonne and discover Coulanges-sur-Yonne and Chatel-Censoir. A village dominated by a castle and which offers a splendid panorama on the valley of the Yonne.

Day 4: Escale Villages

Steps: Arcy-Sur-Cure, Mailly-La-Ville, Mailly-Le-Château, Merry-Sur-Yonne, Vermenton

From the rocks of Saussois in Merry-sur-Yonne to the caves ofArcy-sur-Cure, this stopover in the villages will let you see the picturesque Mailly-le-Château, Mailly-la-Ville, Vermenton, then Deux-Rivières, a new municipality which joins Accolay and Cravant, its church of the XIVth century and its half-timbered house of the XIVth.

Day 5: Escale Vignobles

Steps: Auxerre, Coulanges-La-Vineuse, Escolives-Sainte-Camille, Irancy, Saint-Bris-Le-Vineux

Make way for the Vignobles stopover. You will visit Irancy, Coulanges-la-Vineuse, Saint-Bris-le Vineux, Escolives-Sainte-Camille. Before arriving in Auxerre, the last stage of a cruise as bucolic as rich in discoveries.
