The village has retained its character and its craftsmen. The Sundgau museum, the clog maker and the famous Oltinguette, where sauerkraut sorbet was invented, all contribute to the local dynamism. The village church boasts a fine organ, listed as a Monument Historique, which is showcased on the last Sunday in September with a magnificent concert. Saint-Martin-des-Champs, the old church, dates back to the 14th century and is listed by the Monuments Historiques. Excavations carried out in 1990 revealed ancient tombs in the nave, some of which have now been restored. The Thannewald trail leads to the ruins of Landskron castle.
