Museum housing everyday utensils, devotional objects, typical Alsatian stoves and furniture
This typical Sundgau house dates from the 16th century and houses the Sundgau Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions. The 19th and early 20th century collection was assembled by Father Etienne Bilger, parish priest in Oltingue from 1958 to 1976 and a lover of his land. He saved everyday utensils - crockery, bread ovens, tools, household linen -, objects of piety, typical Alsatian stoves and furniture, costumes, etc. He also kept a collection of objects from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Throughout the year, local artists exhibit their works there.
