A sandy, stony beach in an inhospitable environment. Not the prettiest of all, but very quiet. Its seabed, rich in rocky reefs, is part of a special protection zone that extends as far as Pla de Mar. Fishing and scuba diving are prohibited, as is the anchoring of boats in the phanerogam meadows. Access to Cala Barril is via a 3-kilometre path starting from the Binimel parking lot. The path is part of stage 6 of the Camí de Cavalls, linking Binimel-là to Cala Pilar, which passes through one of the wildest and most beautiful areas in the north of the island.
