On either side of the Cales Coves, there are about a hundred caves decorated with frescoes that served as shelters for Bronze Age troglodytes. It is also the most important necropolis in Menorca, which was used until the Roman era. Unfortunately, many of its secrets have been lost forever, as only a few caves have been excavated by archaeologists. The site was also inhabited in the early 1990s, but the last occupants of the caves were evicted in 2001. One will come here to enjoy the two small beaches bathed in crystal clear water where multicolored fish, crabs and even octopus are present.
