It can be reached from Tefia, in the direction of Betancuria, by taking a small road on the right towards the coast. On the way there, don't miss to admire the gofio mill that gave it its name. Then you will discover a fishing village surrounded by a rocky cove totally preserved from tourism. On the left, a small path leads to a viewpoint over the village, the black sand beach and large rocks on the other side of the creek. Only one restaurant, Casa Pón, is supplied with fresh fish by local fishermen. It is delicious and inexpensive with a pleasant terrace overlooking the ocean. Ideal before joining the Cueva Herminia.
