This is where you will find the beautiful wild beach of Famara with a breathtaking view of the island of La Graciosa. One of the most beautiful in Lanzarote. In Playa de Famara it is possible to rent surfboards and mountain bikes. The beach is very busy at weekends with fish restaurants that are quickly taken over. Be careful though, because even though Playa de Famara is wild and beautiful, it is still dangerous for swimmers and regularly kills a few people every year. Surfers prefer Playa Caleta de Famara, near a small fishing village, northwest of Teguise and a must for the more experienced.
