It is the main tourist centre of the island. Not really charming, this artificial city built of apartments and big hotels has nevertheless the advantage of having kept the buildings at a reasonable height. Its asset is that it preserves the traces of what the old port and the old village were, today totally pedestrian. And which now host many bars and a beautiful paseo maritime, with beautiful views of the sea or the nearby islet of Lobos. Another great advantage is the beautiful beaches of the Corralejo Natural Park. It is from its port that small boats leave for Lanzarote, a short distance away.
