The island covers 27 km² and culminates at 266 m at the Las Agujas volcano, one of the slag cones that rise above its flat, sandy coastline. It belongs to the La Graciosa Marine and Land Park, which includes the northwest coast of Lanzarote, the islets of Alegranza and Montaña Clara and an important maritime area. The roads here are not yet asphalted. There are beautiful beaches on the south coast, close to the only port, the Caleta del Sebo. La Graciosa lives to the rhythm of the boats that unload the crowds of visitors. You can get around on foot or by bike. But some 4X4s can drop you off on your favourite beach.
