The main road to Chissey-en-Morvan has the particularity of appearing in the form of a Z between Autun and Saulieu and being the last town in the north of the department of Saône-et-Loire. The village has several castles to see: the manor of La Prée dating from the eighteenth century, the castle of Buis from the eighteenth century, the castle of Guidon or the old castle of Chissey en Morvan, an old manor house from the twelfth century. In the village, note the Boutin Fountain where, according to legend, Christ quenched his thirst, leaving the imprint of his hand.
