Travel Guide Bee

The surroundings of Bee, on the heights of the lake, are marked by numerous footpaths and mule tracks, suitable for pleasant walks, excursions on foot and by mountain bike. The cultural and historical trail in the nearby village of Vignone invites you to discover three rather unusual anthropomorphic incisions on a granite lintel set on the side of a private house. This stone presents analogies with prehistoric engravings from various localities of the Alpine arc. Thanks to the analysis of the symbols, these incisions are attributed to the Middle Bronze Age (1600-1250 BC) and brought back to the "Orontes regime".
