Zoldo is with Alleghe the second village with hotels and restaurants around Monte Civetta. It consists of four small hamlets, the most important of which are Zoldo Alto and Forno di Zoldo. It is a connecting node between the slopes of Palafavera and Alleghe, on the other side of Monte Civetta, particularly popular with families. In this valley, many hiking and mountain bike trails start from Zoldo. There is a tradition in this village of making home-made ice-cream to be enjoyed in summer. A good excuse to make a fresh and sweet stop on the road to Alleghe.
