Travel Guide Palafavera

Palafavera is an important pass in the direction of Selva di Cadore where there is a refuge, a camping site and where you can enjoy beautiful views of the nearby Monte Civetta. In winter skiing it is an important junction between the resorts of Allegue and Val di Zoldo, where the famous 2000 piste is located, very scenic and spectacular. In summer it is the starting point of the famous Via Ferrata degli Alleghesi, which climbs up to the Coldai hut at the top of the Civetta. From Palafavera it is also possible to reach the Vazzoler hut, the starting point of the Via Ferrata Attilio Tissi, one of the oldest and most daring itineraries in the area.
