Located in the south of the Raa atoll, now in full development, the small island of Aarah offers a triangle of greenery set in the heart of a vast lagoon with translucent waters. Its proximity to the local island of Meedhoo makes it a pleasant stopover for those wishing to discover Maldivian life, its people and its traditions. The Heritance chain chose this little piece of postcard to build its first luxury Maldivian resort, which opened in spring 2019. Playing the grand luxury card, the island is however very built and somewhat lacking in privacy. Now that the final touches have been made, it still lacks some shade and greenery in particular. The island has been largely planted and due to the tropical climate of the Maldives, this outrage should be repaired very quickly. The resort is all inclusive and everything is included, meals and drinks. In addition to the luxury card very assumed, the island benefits from magnificent beaches of a sand so white that it hurts the eyes. The place is ideal for lounging in the privacy of your villa and forgetting the hum of everyday life.
