Aarah is a small island - there are no large ones in Vaavu Atoll - measuring 250 metres x 200 metres. What was just a large sandbar has been transformed into an island hotel in 2019. This is the fourth in the Maldives for the Sri Lankan Cinnamon Group. Due to its small size, the resort is home to mostly stilt villas, lined up next to each other in a fan shape. The island has only a dozen beach bungalows, which are actually two-storey houses. It is still necessary to give oneself a few years so that the vegetation comes to hide the scars generated by the important works which the island knew.
