Kuredhdhu was the first island in the atoll to be opened to tourism in 1988. It is the second largest island in the country, 1,800 m long and 325 m wide, and is reserved exclusively for tourists. It offers more than 3 kilometers of beach opening onto a huge lagoon densely populated by fish of all colors. The western tip of the island ends in a long tongue of white sand that gently disappears into the depths of the ocean. On an island of this size, nature takes precedence and frangipani trees, palm trees, coconut palms and other tropical plants occupy a large space, concealing the 388 rooms of the resort. With 57 hectares, the island is bound to have a sense of grandeur with facilities you won't find anywhere else: a 6-hole golf course, a drive & putt area, floodlit tennis courts, a football pitch, 3 swimming pools, 2 spas, 7 restaurants, 8 bars, a diving centre, a water sports centre, 5 shops, a clinic... enough to make your head spin and perhaps scare off those looking for tranquillity. They would be very wrong! Kuredu Island Resort and Spa has been designed in such a way that even when fully booked, one keeps the feeling of space and privacy. The good idea is also to have imagined 3 resorts in one. Some areas are reserved for adults, others are family friendly, some have an insolent luxury while others prefer to play the simplicity card. Kuredu Island Resort and Spa is designed to satisfy all types of customers who share a desire for a variety of activities.
