With a population of almost 450 inhabitants, Ger is located in the hollow of the valleys where the tributary of the Segre river is born, and lives from livestock, agriculture and a wood industry. Surrounded by pine trees and meadows where cows and sheep graze serenely, the village lends itself well to quiet contemplation of nature and hiking. Two Romanesque churches are to be visited, including the one in the locality of Saga which has very well preserved some carved elements and whose facade, dating from the 12th century, is particularly noteworthy.
