Less than 1 km from the French border, this village is perched at an altitude of 1,385 metres. Its history dates back to the Romans and even the Iberians, but its Nordic ski resort and sublime high-mountain scenery are its main attraction. Between rocks, torrents, pine forests, meadows and pastures, this is the kingdom of the marmot, the wild cat and the golden eagle. There are plenty of breathtaking cross-country ski trails, which can also be explored on foot in summer. There's also the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve in the center of the village.
