Azinhal, a small parish of about 500 souls, is a gourmet stopover to discover the sweets of the region. We will take advantage of it to walk in its white alleys until its church mentioned in writings dating from 1565, or to join the GR15 which goes up the river until Alcoutim. The Guadiana River, called Anas by the Romans or "River of the Ducks", naturally delimits the border between Portugal and Spain. Its peaceful banks are ideal for hiking and bivouacs, in an ideal atmosphere to recharge your batteries. And perhaps find the opportunity to exchange a few words with a shepherd grazing his sheep
