In this small village of 700 inhabitants, the pilgrims of Camino Ignaciano cross those of Camino Jacobeo, one of the paths leading to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. In its church, Alcanadre retains a Roman Romanesque relief from the neighbouring hermitage of Santa María de Aradón. At the exit of the village you can also see the remains of a th century Roman aqueduct, known as the Puente Moros.
