The park is one of the largest nature reserves in the country with endangered large mammals such as the Asian elephant or the gayal, the largest wild bovid... This exceptional natural heritage remains threatened by poaching and illegal logging. The infrastructures for welcoming tourists are still in their infancy but are beginning to be organized. Some activities are offered to visitors: elephant watching, hiking, boat trips on the Srepok River, a tributary of the Mekong. For travellers without a vehicle, buses serve the park from the Buôn Ma Thuôt bus station.
