The park has several entrances and is criss-crossed by winding roads that are wonderful to drive along. At the entrance to the park stands Jeongipumsong, an almost 600-year-old pine tree that bears the title of minister of the second rank. When King Sejo came to pray for the well-being of the nation at Beopjusa Temple in 1464, his procession had to pass this tree, whose branches were in the way. But the tree itself raised its branches as a sign of deference. The grateful king gave it this title in gratitude.
