15 km from Saint-Raymond, this small municipality of 550 souls lives peacefully. Its name comes from Sister Sainte-Christine, born Clara Deschènes. She was the Superior General of the Sisters of Charity of Quebec at the time of the creation of the mission in 1893. Nowadays, the area is mainly used for agricultural and forestry activities, which are so characteristic of the Portneuvian countryside. The Sainte-Anne River, which runs through the village, is very popular with kayakers and there is a public beach near the Cascades Bridge. Otherwise, people come here for the incredible village of wooden cottages that makes vacationers happy.
