Crossed by the Sainte-Anne River, the municipal territory of Saint-Raymond-de-Portneuf extends far to the north and has a total area of 685 km2. Most of the municipality is made up of forests where many cottages are built. Among its attractions are the Jacques-Cartier-Portneuf bicycle path (68 kilometres between Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier and Rivière-à-Pierre, bicycle shuttle service available by reservation), numerous snowmobile and ATV trails, and the Bras-du-Nord Valley.
