Tekit is colourful, with a dominant of pale yellow tones. It seems to be a good place to live. In the village square stands the imposing Templo de San Antonio de Padua, in medieval style (16th century), whose interior is decorated with numerous statues of saints, giving it the appearance of a museum rather than a religious building. Tekit is also known as the capital of the guayabera, the famous men's shirt, characterized by its four front pockets and which was traditionally made of linen, silk and cotton. Still very popular today, this will be an opportunity to acquire one and appreciate its lightness in these hot and humid latitudes.
